Professor Andrew Lawrence

Andrew Lawrence is an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow at the Howard Florey Institute, where he runs the addiction neuroscience laboratory. He has published over 100 original articles. In addition to his research, Andrew Lawrence was Treasurer of the Australian Neuroscience Society (2002-2008) & was recently elected a Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society. He is currently Senior Editor of The British Journal of Pharmacology. He also sits on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Physiology & Addiction Biology. In his spare time, Professor Lawrence is a keen cyclist and a surf life guard.
