Professor Perry Bartlett

Professor Perry Bartlett is a Fellow of the Australian Academy. He was appointed Foundation Chair in Molecular Neuroscience at the University of Queensland in 2002 and as Director of the Queensland Brain Institute in 2003. He is a past President of the Australian Neuroscience Society. His laboratory’s work led to the concept that the brain has the innate ability to repair and regenerate by the production of new neurons.
