National Health and Medical Research Council
The National Health and Medical Research Council is Australia's peak body for supporting health and medical research; for developing health advice for the Australian community, health professionals and governments; and for providing advice on ethical behaviour in health care and in the conduct of health and medical research.
The Victorian Neurotrauma Initiative is collaborating with NHMRC on the following funding opportunities:
-
NHMRC Project Grant Funding 2009 Round
-
NHMRC Project Grant Funding 2010 Round
This is an exciting step in the next phase of VNI project funding. It allows applications from Victorian neurotrauma researchers to be considered simultaneously by Australia's peak health research body and by the VNI.
-
NHMRC/VNI TRIP Fellowships 2010 Round
-
NHMRC/VNI Practitioner Fellowship 2010 Round
-
VNI/NHMRC Career Development Awards 2010 Round
As part of a commitment to fund a suite of people support activities, the VNI will be offering Fellowships and Awards through the 2010 NHMRC Round. They represent a central component of VNI’s plan to build capacity and capability within the local research sector.
Applicants based in Victoria will be able to nominate themselves for consideration.
Cooperation with NHMRC will allow the VNI to take advantage of NHMRC's considerable expertise.
Moreover, this application process will minimise the amount of time researchers spend completing applications and maximise their time completing valuable neurotrauma research.
The VNI looks forward to the next phases of this collaboration.
