Executive

The VNI's day-to-day activities are managed by an Executive group comprised of seven full-time staff. The Executive also supports the activities of the Board of Management and the Committees reporting to the Board.

Melinda Rockell

Executive Officer
Melinda oversees all activities of the VNI, supervises the executive team and reports to the Board of Directors. She is responsible for ensuring that the organisation meets its objectives and delivers value to stakeholders

Lisa Pitre

Development Manager
Lisa is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, partnership development, and marketing and communications. She also provides executive support to the Scientific Advisory Committee.

Kenneth Dusza

Senior Project Officer
Ken is responsible for project management of large funded initiatives, project plans and also acts as the conflict of interest manager and quality assurance manager.

Debora Romero

Project Officer
Debora is primarily responsible for project management of funded initiatives and assistance in the development of operational activities.

Sara Tomlin

Administration Assistant
Sara provides support to the Executive team and is responsible for the administration of all VNI activities.

In addition, the Department of Innovation, Industry & Regional Development (DIIRD) and Neurosciences Victoria Ltd (NSV) provide strategic and project management support to VNI.

Fan Li

Senior Project Officer, VNI staff based at Neurosciences Victoria.
In her role as Senior Project Officer, Fan Li is responsible for project management of large program grants.

Sloane Griffin

Project Officer, VNI staff based at Neurosciences Victoria.
In her role as Project Officer, Sloane is responsible for project management of funded initiatives and fellowships.
